This is a busy month for us as Valentine's Day is nearly upon us and along with that comes 100 day, skating, tubing and gymnastics. I know this month will fly by like all the rest. Some exciting things happening in our class right now!
Reminder Thursday we are skating and Friday we will be tubing- Students will need a helmet for both days!
I want to thank our parent helpers that went skating last Thursday with us (Mrs. Peace, Mrs. Oike, Mr. Hanghofer, Mr. Tozer, Mr. Harnett, Mr. Shaffi, Mrs. Church) Many of you skated with the kids, tied skates and walked over with us! I was over whelmed by the amount of parent support. You are amazing and your help is much appreciated!
Monday is YPC at Sagebrush theatre. We will be leaving at 10 am and not return until noon. Students will be seeing some storytelling drama from the Dufflebag Theatre.
Valentine's Day is next Friday. I am asking that if your child is planning to bring Valentines cards that you please bring one for every child. This avoid hurt feelings. Thanks for your help with that. We do have 24 children in our class. I am sending home a class list on Monday Feb. 3rd. We will have a little time for opening the cards and having treats. If you would like to send some treats on this day, you are more than welcome!

We are also learning a Fables song and readers theaters in preparation for our "Read Around the Planet" video-conference coming up at the end of February. Students will be bringing home memory work this week for homework. Thank-you in advance for your support and help with this at home. This will require teamwork from families! :)
