REMEMBRANCE DAY
This week we will be watching videos and reading stories that help students to understand about peace and respect for our veterans. We will be talking about "seeds of peace" that we can sow in our daily lives (i.e. kindness, compassion, helpfulness etc.)
On Friday our Primary Choir will be singing two songs in the school assembly. Please help your child come to school dressed in red and black on this day. Our assembly will run from 10:30-11:30am.

Last Week:
Halloween was a very exciting time for our students and now many of our students have a lot of candy they are consuming. Please do not allow your child to bring it to school. It is a quite a distraction, Thank-you for your help with this!
Due In:
I am still needing a few green permission slips for Young People's Concert permission slips. Please send them in as soon as possible
Student Lunches:
Please send your child with a spoon to use if you are sending yogurt, jello, soup etc. as we just do not have enough here (and they are not the cleanest) to have for students to be using.
Students will occasionally come to school with a lunch item that requires a spoon and they will not have one readily available. Over the years of my career, I have brought many plastic spoons for these students with my own money. They have been thrown out, broken, not returned etc. At the moment, our classroom has run out of spoons and these students are now using older spoons that are also used for mixing art supplies. Please ensure your child has the supplies he/she needs to eat with when packing their lunch. Thank-you for your help with this!
