We will have a hockey area set up at one end of the ice. Students are allowed to bring their own hockey stick to use. Regular pucks or balls are not allowed on the ice but if they have a soft foam puck, that would be fine. I believe the rink does put out one or two foam pucks to play a game.
I am concerned as I currently do not have any parents volunteering to help us with this field trip. We currently need parent helpers to help drive our equipment over, help tie skates when we arrive and skate with the kids. I would love to have 1 parent also to walk with us to the arena. If you are able to help with this event, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank-you!
Please note also we will be skating again next Thursday and again will be looking for helpers for this afternoon. Friday then will be our Tubing day at Harper Mountain and students must again have a helmet to participate.
Thanks again for your support. Please feel free to contact me at the school if you have any questions or concerns.
